International General
Certificate Secondary Education. That is what IGCSE stands for. It is an
examination that is offered only the Cambridge University and the best part
about this course is you can pick from one of the many subjects. Also, the
course is available in various countries and you need not be in Cambridge to
opt for this course. Every year, thousands of students enroll themselves for
this course from different countries and hope to pass the examinations with
flying colors. However, it is not as easy as you think it is. So, here are some
of the tips that students, who have already passed the examination shared with
everyone:
- Get Over With the Admission – although, there are many centers that provide tuitions for this course, it would be best to enroll yourself in a center that is IGCSE approved. These centers fulfill all the requirements and norms that Cambridge University has laid down. These are for students who are not studying alone and would need help understanding the subjects involved.
- Practicing Previous Question Papers – one of the must-do things for IGCSE tests is to practice and solve the question papers that have already been set for previous years. Suppose, you are appearing for the physics paper. You will have to go through all the IGCSE Physics Revision Notes and then solve the questions. This will help understand the pattern of questions that you may come across during the examination. In addition to knowing the question pattern, you will also be able to calculate the time within which you are completing the paper.
- Reading Approved Books – apart from IGCSE Physics Revision Notes, there are also books that you will have to read. Ideally, you should be reading the books that are endorsed by Cambridge. These are easily available in stores and it is important that you read from these endorsed books as they are written by some of the most experienced and professional professors in that category.
Passing the IGCSE
examination can be easy, but you need to be sincere and follow the tips given
above by past candidates.
